Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, the founder and spiritual leader at the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has said COVID-19 will stop when God wants the pandemic to end.
The cleric known for his prophetic declarations made the statement during an interview with Legit TV.

He said the disease will go at the appropriate time of God.
The religious leader, however, warned that the second wave of the pandemic will be severe in Nigeria.
He pointed out that the federal government and Nigerians have not prepared for the severity of the second wave.
The cleric also had a message of doom for the people he accused of working against the interest of Nigeria.
He stated that corrupt people and those holding Nigeria back would experience the wrath of COVID-19.
The primate warned that the months of January, February, and March of 2021 would not be pleasant in Nigeria and the world due to COVID-19.
He claimed God would use COVID-19 to deal with bad people in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the Rivers state government has threatened to impose another lockdown following the unruly behaviours of some persons who believe that the COVID-19 pandemic is not real.
Governor Nyesom Wike on Sunday, December 27, said that most church members openly flout COVID-19 rules by abandoning their facemasks, Daily Trust reports.
Moreover, the governor revealed that most persons go to market places without observing social distancing and hygiene measures.
In other news, the Lagos government has alerted residents in the state that some dubious persons are now selling fake COVID-19 certificates to travellers.
This was revealed on Monday, December 28, by the commissioner for health, Akin Abayomi, during a press briefing on the situation of the second wave of the virus, PM News reported.
However, Abayomi noted that the government is making decisive moves to track and arrest perpetrators of this crime.
