However, a Nigerian man decided to be different by wearing something unique. The man, whose name is Akai Imo, wore a traditional cap and tied a wrapper around his waist during his white wedding.

He shared photos of his outfit on his Facebook page and thanked those who graced their occasion.

Imo's message read in part:

“IN THE SPIRIT OF LOCAL GRATITUDE!(LOCAL LOVE 2020)
"The depths of gratitude in our hearts are so immeasurable and words are lacking for its redefinition.
"As the saying goes, a tree does not become a forest on its own; you actually made our day a success story. Without God and you on our side, we do not know how it would have been. You did it!
"Thank you for witnessing that special moment which has written a new chapter in our lives and penned us down on the stone of history."

According to him, their presence meant more than words can express and for that he and his wife are grateful.
