Governor Ganduje mourns over death of Musa Saleh Kwankwaso

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has sent a condolence message to the Kwankwaso family over the death of Alhaji Musa Saleh Kwankwaso.

Daily Trust reported that Ganduje said he received the news of the death with shock.

According to a statement through the commissioner for information, Muhammad Garba, the governor described the late patriarch as an exemplary traditional ruler.

Ganduje said:

The late Makama, who personified dignity and finesses, is a devout Muslim.
“He left us great lessons as a very strong symbol of godliness, tolerance, justice, honesty and service to our dear state."

The governor stated that Alhaji Kwankwaso was not only loyal to the people of his immediate domain, but to Kano, Nigeria and humanity at large.

He prayed for the Almighty Allah to receive the soul of the departed and comfort the grieving family.

Meanwhile, in another report, a former Nigerian vice president, Atiku Abubakar has expressed his condolences to the Kwankwaso family over the death of Musa Saleh Kwankwaso.

The late elder statesman is the father of a former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Atiku said the late patriarch was devoted to his religion, family, and society. The former vice president prayed for the Almighty Allah (God) to accept the soul of the elder statesman.

In another sad incident, a former military governor of Akwa Ibom state, Idongesit Nkanga has reportedly died of an undisclosed ailment.

Nkanga who was the chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) reportedly died on Thursday, December 24, in a hospital.
