Kind security guard rides bike for 4km, returns lost wallet to owner

Chloe Marino dropped something valuable at the grocery store and had no idea that an angel would have it delivered at her doorstep.

Chloe who lives in Hawaii shopped in a hurry and left for home only to realise she had left behind her wallet. At the time, the mum was with her five-month-old son.

A security guard named Aina Townsend saw the wallet and knew the owner was probably wondering where she left it or how she lost it.

The Foodland Grocery store employee picked the wallet and checked to see if the owner’s address was written on one of the documents.

As fate would have it, Chloe’s address was indicated on one of the documents.

Aina got off work when his shift ended, hopped onto his bicycle and rode for 4km as he searched for his customer’s home.

It took him one hour to get to Chloe’s house but that did not bother the kind gentleman.

The 22-year-old told CNN he had once lost his wallet in the past and he knew the kind of stress it inflicted on a person.

“I was shocked at first, I had not even realized I had lost it,” Chloe said.

In another previous report, US journalist Shomari Stone was driving back home when he noticed a black wallet on the ground.

The scribe stopped his car and picked the wallet. He found credit cards, cash and a driving licence inside.

Shomari drove to the address indicated on the licence and handed over all the items to the rightful owner.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man was hailed on social media for displaying honesty after finding a wallet with a huge sum of money belonging to a bus passenger.

The passenger identified as Nonso Oguejiofor took to his Facebook page to narrate how he lost his wallet in a bus on his way home.
