Nigeria's minister of information and culture recently opened up on the only regret he has as a cabinet member of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mohammed revealed that his only regret as a minister is that a good number of Nigerians have failed to appreciate that Buhari's administration is doing so much with little resources.

In a report by The Nation, Mohammed also expressed regret that some Nigerians keep celebrating negative developments rather than value the efforts of the government.

The minister speaking at a forum in Abuja went on to note that the current regime implemented programmes alleviating poverty as well as job creation for youths with dwindling resources.

He added that no government in the history of Nigeria had executed such programmes.

The minister who listed several of the government's programmes carried out said Nigerians are not giving credit to various interventions.

Legit.ng recalls that the minister declared that the administration of President Buhari is doing immensely well. He insisted that the government is doing this in spite of the dwindling revenues accruing to the country.

Mohammed said this while responding to questions on the state of the nation on an audience participatory programme of the language station of Radio Nigeria, Lagos operations, Bond FM 92.9 in lkeja.

In a related development, a presidential aide, Femi Adesina urged Nigerians to be thankful that cases of bombings do not occur frequently as they used to prior to the Buhari administration.

The senior special adviser on media and publicity to the president made the statement on Sunday, December 20, during an appearance on Channel TV’s programme, Sunday Politics.
