Ronaldinho has been in so many struggles of late and his latest worry is about his mum being in intensive care battling for her life against coronavirus.
The Brazilian legend made it public and has thanked family and friends for their prayers and hopes his mum comes out strong.
The former Barcelona midfielder was quoted by ESPN FC's Twitter handle:
"Dear friends, my mum has Covid and we are in the fight for her to recover soon.
"She is in the intensive care center, receiving all the care. I thank you in advance for your prayers, positive energies and affection.

Earlier in the year, Ronaldinho was arrested with his elder brother for using fake documents in entering Paraguay.
The 42-year-old was remanded in prison where he spent over four weeks before he was handed a house arrest in a hotel in the city of Asuncion, capital of Paraguay.
After much speculation, the ex-AC Milan and PSG star was released and the former one-time Ballon d'Or winner returned to his native home.
