Manchester United are expected to complete the signing of Atalanta star Amad Diallo after the striker completed regularities to seal his work permit.

The Red Devils completed the signing of the 18-year-old on transfer deadline day in October and now they are about finalizing the deal.

The 18-year-old proved to be one of the hottest prospects in the game last season when he performed excellently in the UEFA Youth League.

The exciting Ivorian winger has been noticed by United scouts since he was age 15 and the club have been monitoring his progress ever since.

Diallo had a taste of the first-team action for Atalanta in Serie A last season and capped his three appearances with a goal.

He became the first player born in 2002 to score a goal in Serie A following Atalanta's 7-1 demolition of Udinese last season.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that the youngster has now been granted a passport to travel to England.

He wrote:

"Amad Diallo has finally received his passport, the deadlines have been met.
"He will fly to Manchester in January to compete his move to Manchester United."

The transfer fee for the teenager is expected to rise to £37million including add-ons.

Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Old Gunnar Solskjaer has warned Paul Pogba that he would not sit and watch any player think he is bigger than the Premier League club.

The Frenchman has been warned as the row between the club and the player’s agent Mino Riaola takes a drastic new turn.

However, Legit.ng earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba are being linked with a blockbuster swap deal involving two European giants, Juventus and Manchester United.

CR7 is being considered to make a sensational return to Manchester United where he spent six seasons between 2003 and 2009 before leaving to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.

On the other hand, Paul Pogba is being poached to return to Juventus as calls for him to move back to the Turin based club has been a recurring theme.
