Odumma is famed for correctly predicting the emergence of Senator Hope Uzodinma as the Imo state governor in a prophecy he delivered as early as March 2019.

According to him, politicians of Igbo stock jostling for the presidency in 2023 should wait for their turn, adding that God has not sanctioned the emergence of an Igbo as the country's number one citizen.

While speaking on the issue, the cleric mentioned Governor Uzodinma as the likely Igbo politician to be the next president from the southeast.

His words:

“If the Igbo presidency will come, I don't know when, just think about him (Governor Uzodinma).
“I am not talking about 2023, because in 2023, there is no chance. They're not going to get there for this 2023. You can take it as a prophecy.”

Shedding more light on his prophecy which correctly predicted Uzodinma's emergence as Imo state governor.

Apostle Odumma said when God revealed to him what will happen in the state, he, first of all, shared the vision with his wife, who was initially skeptical about him going public with the vision.

He said he later wrote the prophecy on his Facebook page on Monday, March 4, 2019.

He noted that when former governor Emeka Ihedioha was sworn into power in May 2019, he was not moved but believed in his prophecy.

He added:

“I was not moved or shaken when Ihedioha came to power. I knew when God says something, it would happen.”

He urged Imolites to support and encourage Uzodinma, adding that the emergence of the governor is a divine arrangement sanctioned by God.

Apostle Odumma, however, urged Governor Uzodinma to focus on the rural areas in Imo and empower the youths of the state to make them self-reliant.

Meanwhile, the minister of labour and employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, has said the founding fathers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won’t speak on the zoning arrangement of the party until 2021.

Ngige, a former governor of Anambra state, said nine among those of them who founded the APC were still in the party and that they would speak at the appropriate time.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that the APC would take the important decision on where its 2023 presidential candidate would come from in June 2021.

Sources in the party had declared that if the north gets the slot of the national chairman of the party during the national convention of the party, the presidential candidate of the party would come from the south and vice versa.
