The world is truly becoming another thing, actions, and inactions of the people residing there are proving it so.

In the past, it is rare for a child to look into his parent's eyes not to talk of having the courage to take them to court over social actions that the world mostly frown upon.

This is the case of one 42-year-old David Werking who dragged his mother and father to the court for allegedly destroying his property, Daily Mail reports.

He claimed that the items destroyed by his parents are worth $25,000 and consequently demanded for triple that amount.

He said this should serve as punishment for 'wanton destruction of property'.

The parents had argued that they warned him not to bring such materials into their homes and they have destroyed it as his landlords.

Meanwhile, the judge, Paul Maloney has sided with Werking. According to him, the parents had no reason to destroy his properties in whatever guise.

He said:

"Defendants do not cite to any statute or case law to support their assertion that landlords can destroy property that they dislike."

However, reactions have quickly followed the judgement, with many people blaming the law for siding with the son against his parents.

Raheel Ahmed wrote:

"So parents got punished for saving their son from not so good sort of addiction. Law thesedays."

Ahmed Kazim added:

"They did the right thing, the system will recognize it as illegal action but still they did the right thing, too bad their son is a lost cause.
