Tems tells Ugandan singer to stay from Nigeria, accuses him of arresting her

- Nigerian muscian, Tems, has accused a Ugandan artiste, BebeCool, of planning her arrest in his country

- Tems said that despite ensuring that she and Omah Lay were detained, he is using their release to swell his popularity on social media

- The Nigerian singer, therefore, strictly warned the musician not to ever come to Nigeria for his own good

Popular Nigerian artist, Tems, who was earlier arrested in Uganda alongside Omah Lay, has taken to her Twitter account to lash out at Ugandan artist, Bebe Cool.

In a series of posts on the platform on Friday, December 18, the Nigerian singer accused the Ugandan artist of being behind their arrest in his country.

She went further to say that despite that, the artist acted otherwise and came around to claim victory for their release from detention

Tems said that his friend, probably referring to the police, broke into their hotel room and took them to the police station.

She said that when they got there, Bebe Cool was busy laughing hard with the DPO in the face of their ordeal.

Tems tweeted:

In another tweet, she frankly warned the artist to stay away from Nigeria for as long as he lives, telling him that if she ever sees him in the country, she will “pounce” on him.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Fast-rising Nigerian musicians, Omah Lay and Tems, have finally broken their silence after arriving in the country from Uganda.

In a thread shared on Twitter, Omah Lay said the experience was one of the toughest in his life and he wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

He added that he was in a new country where he met some beautiful people and then he was later being treated like a common thief. Tems also shared a press statement on her Instagram page where she allayed fans fears and assured them of her safety.
