Actress Chioma Ifemeludike says celebrities should hold politicians accountable

- Nollywood actress, Chioma Ifemeludike recently took to social media to address celebrities who took part in the end SARS campaign in the country

- According to the movie star, they cannot say they want the progress of the country and still want to eat from stolen national cake

- The actress also said that it was high time celebrities got involved in politics for the sole purpose of vetting potential office holders

Nollywood actress, Chioma Ifemeludike, recently got people talking after she shared her opinion about her colleagues in the entertainment industry.

In the post which she shared on her Instagram page, the actress said that for celebrities who joined the end SARS movement in October, they needed to tuck in their greed.

Chioma also said that it was wrong to clamor for a new Nigeria and still have eyes on stolen national cake to the point of sabotaging elections.

The screen diva further said that celebrities needed to interrogate politicians whenever they called on them during campaigns.

She conclusively said that if they considered collecting crumbs from them at any point, they should think about the future of their children.

"If you know as a celebrity you participated in the #endsars campaign please try and end long throat as well... You can't be asking for a reformed Nigerian police,a better society and still have eyes to share from stolen national cake... It is time we start engaging and interrogating these politicians whenever they need our campaign or company."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that actress, Chioma Ifemeludike, took to social media to say that there was no inflow of new and young female talents because they did not have money to register or simply refused to sleep their way to the top.
