Fikayo Tomori Reportedly Ready to Snub Leeds for Move to Rennes

England international Fikayo Tomori is reportedly on the verge of snubbing Premier League side Leeds United for a loan move to French side Rennes from Chelsea.

Last season, Fikayo Tomori was in brilliant form for Chelsea in all competitions which also earned him a call-up to the English national senior men's team.

So far this term in the Premier League, Fikayo Tomori has not been having active playing time with arrival of Thiago Silva pouring more salt on the wound.

However, the Blues are keen to keep hold of the youngster with Frank Lampard still viewing him as one for the future at Stamford Bridge.

According to the report on UK Sun, Chelsea are willing to let him leave temporarily in order to get some active playing games somewhere which will help his career.

Leeds United and West Ham have been linked with the transfer of Fikayo Tomori, but the the latest report is that Rennes are now leading the race.

Chelsea chiefs and those at Rennes have superb relationship considering how the Blues recently signed Senegalese goalkeeper Mendy.

Before making permanent return to Chelsea, Fikayo Tomori had loan stint at Brighton, Hull City and Derby and has only played three games so far this term under Frank Lampard.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Frank Leboeuf who won two FA Cup titles with Premier League side Chelsea has slammed the performances of Kai Havertz so far at Stamford Bridge this season.

The Blues labored very hard to beat competition from other clubs in Europe for them to get the signing of Kai Havertz from German giants Bayern Leverkusen.

Kai Havertz signed a five-year deal with Chelsea and was among the big players who arrived at Stamford Bridge before the start of the ongoing League season in England.

So far, the Germany international has played 17 games for Chelsea in all competitions and has managed to score four goals for the Blues this term.

Frank Leboeuf joined Chelsea in 1996, and was with the Blues until the year 2001 playing 144 games with 17 goals for the Premier League side.
