Arsenal vs Southampton ended all square with both sides earning a vital point in a Premier League tie played on Wednesday night, December 16.
The Gunners were keen to use the tie to get their campaign back on track after a string of poor results.
However, it was the visitors who got things off to a flying start, with Theo Walcott returning to haunt his former club with an opener in the 18th minute.

It was after the goal that Arsenal desperately tried to get a foothold in the match but all efforts to get an equaliser proved futile.
However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled matters in the 51st minute in what was his first goal in 11 matches.
The Gabonese forward was keen to make amends from his performance in the last match where his own goal earned Burnley all the three points at the Emirates.
The north London side had to play a man less in the better part of the half after Gabriel was handed marching orders in the 63rd minute after fouling Walcott.
Mikel Arteta's men should have scored a winner at the death through Rob Holding, only for the defender's superb header to rattle the crossbar.
The tie eventually finished 1-1, with both sides sharing the spoils at the Emirates.
The result has Arsenal still in 15th with 14 points, with the Saints safe in third with 24, just one off the top.

Juve will look with disappointment as they were in their bid to chase league leaders AC Milan who still hold have three points ahead of them.
Andrea Pirlo's men began the game on a bright note, but it was Atalanta's Matteo Pessina who had the first real attempt which came in the 7th minute when he fired from outside the box, but Wojciech Szczesny had it under control.
