- A Namibian couple has recently been delivered of a set of triplets
- But, their joy is shortlived as they are currently battling with challenges of accommodation
- Before the birth of the triplets, the high-school lovers who have been married for 12 years lived in a two-room backyard shack
This is not the best of times for a Namibian couple even though they have just been blessed with a set of triplets.
The couple, according to The Namibian, is struggling with accommodation challenges as the two-room backyard shack where they had lived with their other children will not be conducive or healthy for the raising of the newborns.
Sion Ihula and Loide Kuhatumwa who had on Thursday last week welcomed a set of triplets said all they require now is a piece of land to build their home and take care of their children.
Sion (the lady) had said:
“Life is going to be very challenging, and our dream of having our own place is fading. I really want a home with a yard and my own toilet. It hurts when I have to forbid our older children to play in the street. That is not the life I want for them,”
While neither have no permanent and stable source of income, they believe a piece of land will be good enough for them.
The husband Loide, a security guard said:
“If we can have our own place we will be fine. But now everything we work for goes to rent and electricity. With the additional children, we will have to work harder, but that is not possible, because we can't even sell anything from here.”
