- Primate Ayodele has released a statement on the abducted Katsina schoolboys
- The cleric said he had a vision that the boys are alive
- Ayodele, however, urged the parents of the students to have faith in God for their children to be rescued safely
Following the hues and cries over the abduction of about 600 students of Government Science Secondary School (GSSS) in Kankara local government area of Katsina state, the leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that he knows where the boys are kept.
PM News reports that the cleric said the kidnapped students are now somewhere between the Niger Republic and Nigeria.
Legit.ng gathered that Primate Ayodele said God showed him the children were held hostage in a vision.
He revealed this in a statement issued on Wednesday, December 16, warning that actions should be taken as soon as possible in order to avoid the deaths of the abducted students.
Primate Ayodele also said the kidnap is a setup, adding that some people were responsible just to terrorise the country.
“The kidnap was a set-up, there are some people behind it just to terrorise Nigeria, that is why I said those who deep hand into the destruction of Nigeria, COVID-19 has come to take them away.”
The cleric told the parents of the kidnapped children to be patient and have faith in God that they would be rescued.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported the National Inter-Faith and Religious Organisations for Peace (NIFROP), on Tuesday, December 15, conducted a one-day national prayer for the safe return of the abducted students.
It was reported that the religious group also prayed for wisdom for the leadership of the Nigerian armed forces in deploying strategic operations for the rescue of the students.
The national coordinator of the group, Bishop Sunday Garba, said the best way for Nigeria to get out of the shackles of the darkness is by the grace of God.
Bishop Garba while extending prayers to the families and relatives of the abducted students said it is also important for every Nigerian across the country and abroad to join NIFROP on this spiritual exercise against the plan of the devil.
In a related report, the parents of the abducted Kankara students converged on the premises of the school to keep a vigil.
The parents were patiently waiting for their children to return as promised by the state governor, Aminu Bello Masari.
According to the report, two of the parents said they couldn’t sleep, adding that they would continue to be spending the night at the school until their children are rescued safely.
