Arsenal hero Ian Wright has urged Mikel Arteta to drop the trio of Alexander Lacazette, Granit Xhaka and Willian ahead of the Gunners' clash against Southampton.
Arteta's men are due to take on The Saints at the Emirates on Wednesday night, December 16, in a Premier League meeting.
Arsenal will be keen to use the clash to register a favourable result during the encounter for a chance to get their campaign back on track.

The side has endured a difficult run of results in recent weeks, with their weekend defeat to Burnley leaving them languishing in 15th.
A second half own goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the difference, with the Clarets snatching a vital win away from home.
And with Arteta now under immense pressure, Wright has asked him to axe three players from the first team ahead of the Southampton meeting.
The three players include Xhaka who is already suspended for the clash after he picked a red card against Burnley.
Wright further named Willian and Lacazette among the players who should be dropped following their poor recent poor form.
"The manager has stuck with him (Xhaka) for a while. He has shown a lot of faith in him," wright told Premier League productions as cited by Metro UK.
"I think he has done the same with Willian. He has done the same with Lacazette. There are players now that should be getting a blast at it now," he added.
Wright noted Arteta should instead actively involve the youngsters including Eddie Nketiah, Joe Willock and Maitland-Niles.
A win over Southampton is sure to lift Arsenal's spirits as the league enters the busy Christmas period.
