The former lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district at the upper chamber, Senator Dino Melaye, has expressed his distrust for those who are rude to the poor and nice to him.
The controversial politician took to his social media page to share his thoughts on those who will not be nice to the waiter, gateman, cook and cleaner while showing him respect.
According to Melaye, such people will not hesitate to show him disrespect if he was a poor man.
In his words:
"I will not trust anybody who respect, adore or is nice to me but rude to a waiter, gateman, cook or cleaner because they will treat me the same way if i were in such position. SDM."

In other news, the former lawmaker said he was not born with a silver spoon.
Melaye, who made the disclosure in an interview with BBC Pidgin, said life became a living hell for his family while he was growing up after his father was sacked from Kano civil service.
He said he started fending for himself and his family by breeding goats and selling their offspring, adding that he was able to obtain JAMB form from the proceed of the venture.
