Manchester City suffer another setback with their Premier League title contention after dropping two valuable points at the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens were unable to overpower 19th place West Bromwich Albion on home turf after an own goal from Ruben Dias in the 43rd minute ensured the game ended in a stalemate.

Ilkay Guendogan had put Pep Guardiola's men on the 30th minute after firing home an unstoppable shot from close range.

However, neither side was able to produce any more goals for the remainder of the encounter on Tuesday, December 15.

Though they have one match in hand, Man City are currently ninth on the log with 19 points from 11 games - six points behind Liverpool and Tottenham who face-off at Anfield later this week.

Guardiola made tactical changes towards the end of the game with Sergio Aguero coming on for Phi Foden but that was not enough to save the day for him.
