Year 2020 for many remains a year to remember for all the wrong reasons, however some Super Eagles stars will be proud to look back to the year after they became proud fathers.

Having a child is, arguably, the most priceless achievement for every individual, but becoming a father for the first time in year 2020 is worth celebrating.

Despite the pandemic and series of protests that crippled socio-economic activities not just in Nigeria, but across the globe, four Super Eagles players had their first child in the year respectively.

Below are four Super Eagles stars who became fathers in 2020

1. Wilfred Ndidi:

On May 16, the Leicester City man announced the arrival of his first child with wife Dinma who he married in May, 2019.

The midfielder named the adorable baby Jaina and posted a picture of himself carrying the jewel on his Instagram handle.

Ndidi branded himself as the most fortunate man in the world after marrying long term girlfriend Dinma in Abuja last year.

2. Francis Uzoho:

He announced on January 3 that he became a father after his wife got delivered of a bouncing baby boy.

The Nigerian star who last featured for Nigeria in the October 2019 friendly match against Brazil shared the photo of his family on his social media handle.

In his post, the Nigerian international was full of praise for his wife after the safe delivery of their first child together.

3. Chidozie Awaziem

Chidozie Awaziem became a father for the first time on July 30 as he posted a photo of his newborn baby girl on social media.

The Super Eagles star whose side Leganes relegated from the Spanish La Liga to the Segunda division put the disappointment behind him.

The 23-year-old wasted no time in expressing his uttermost joy as he captioned the picture of his baby girl Christel on Instagram: "I can't explain the way I feel right now...thank you God for giving me Christel, Latest dad in town."

4. Chidi Nwakali:

Chidi Nwakali also became father to an adorable baby girl in the course of the unique year.

The Super Eagles midfielder took to his official page on Instagram on Saturday, July 25, to share the good news with his fans and followers on the platform.

Nwakali in the caption of his post welcomed the adorable little one to his world.
