Simi’s post comes a few hours after singer Mr P took to his page on Twitter with a fresh update regarding the continued detainment of Omah and Tems.
Mr P in his post disclosed that there has been massive progress in resolving the issue and as such both singers should be on their way home soon.
"Good morning guys! Just to inform you all that there’s huge progress now and @Omah_Layand #Tems will be on their way back home soon!"
Similarly, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), also took to her page on Twitter saying the singers are expected home soon.

This was after an earlier Twitter post where she gave assurances that hands are on deck to resolve the matter.
Dabiri had responded to a tweet by a distressed Omah Lay who had wondered why he was being detained and also denied a right to free hearing.
