Timi Adigun: Nigerian pastor apologises for engaging in inappropriate behaviour with females

- A Nigerian pastor who was enmeshed in sexual scandal with his church members has admitted that he was engaged in inappropriate behaviour with females for some years

- Pastor Adigun said there was no sexual intercourse between him and the ladies in question

- According to the cleric, his wife was not aware of the immoral activities that went on for years

Pastor Timi Adigun of The Ark Church has admitted to involvement in ‘inappropriate behaviour’ with females for a couple of years.

This is coming less than 48 hours after Adigun was called out on social media for having sexual intercourse with teenagers in his church.

The 35-year-old cleric, however, said he had ‘no sexual intercourse’ with any of the ladies and none of them was underaged.

Taking to his Instagram page to tender his apology, Adigun said his wife did not know about these actions while they happened.

According to him, he has apologised to the victims of his sexual assault as well as members of their family.

In his words:

“I have apologised several times to ALL the ladies involved and also apologised to some’s family members.
"The final apology came in September when I sent voice note apologies to ALL OF THEM for taking advantage of their trust in me and they all, at different times, accepted my apology."

Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian cleric identified as Ayo Ajani of the Petra Christian Center tendered a public apology on social media days after he was accused of rape by a Nigerian lady on Twitter.

The lady identified as Lam Lam in a post shared on Monday, June 1, accused Ajani of being a sexual predator and called on people who intend to attend services at the church to take caution.

She said:

"Attention everyone. There is a sexual predator and financial groomer on the loose in Petra Christian center @PetraChristianC. His name is Ayo Ajani @pastorayoajani, he’s the Senior Pastor. Attend this institution at your own peril."

Ajani in his note of apology stated that he was not defending himself but simply apologising to members of his ministry that may have been hurt after learning of the rape accusations against him.
