Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to inspire Juventus to a 3-0 win over Barcelona in their Champions League meeting on his return to the Nou Camp for the first time in over two years.

The 35-year-old was bold enough to convert two spot-kicks for his side in the game while Weston McKennie was credited for their third.

These goals took his tally to four goals in four UCL appearances so far this campaign while he remains the highest goal scorer in the history of the competition.

And this led to Ronaldo's sister, Elma Aveiro, aiming a dig at the Juve star's arch-rival after their crucial meeting in the UEFA elite competition.

She took to Instagram to celebrate his brother's brace with a fictional picture of Messi bowing down to Ronaldo.

"My king. Greatest of all time. Pride of my life."

Meanwhile, when the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was asked about his rivalry with Messi after the match, he said:

"I shared 12, 13 or 14 years of award ceremonies with him. I never saw him as a rival. He always tries to do what is best for his team and me too. I always got along very well with him.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo was outstanding on his return to the Camp Nou after scoring twice in Juventus' 3-0 win over Barcelona.

Weston McKennie was also on the scores sheet as the Old Lady avenged their 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture in October.

The victory propelled them to the summit of the Group G table with 15 points - the same as the Catalans but with better goal difference.
