Motara: social media influencer tenders public apology again (video)

A social media influencer, Motara, who was slammed recently after a video where she was wickedly teasing a child beggar on the street surfaced online, has apologised again.

Taking to Twitter to share a video, the remorseful young lady stated that she had learned her lessons the hard way and wished she could turn back the hands of time.

Motara also said that she had become a better person who would never engage in such an act again, and would also be careful of the kind of content she shares on social media platforms.

She also mentioned that she did not mean for the video to be taken the way it did and there was no justification for the wickedness she portrayed in the video.

The social media influencer captioned her video with the following:

"It’s been long weeks of lessons for me. I made a terrible mistake and I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I promise to be a better version of myself and be more kind and compassionate. Thank yall for the corrections. God bless."

Still on the influencer, Legit.ng earlier reported that Motara was dropped as a member by a non-profit organisation identified as Brotherskeeper after her video went viral.

In a statement released via their official Twitter page, the organisation announced the suspension of the influencer as their Public Relations Officer with immediate effect.
