The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has reacted to the second round of #EndSARS protests in some parts of the country.

Asefon who stated this at a press conference on Monday, December 7, in Abuja, said the association does not recognise the movement aimed at ending police brutality because it does not have a leader.

Speaking further, Asefon explained that the protest would not solve the problem of police brutality because the controversial unit has been since been disbanded by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

This development is coming after the inspector general of police, warned that no form of EndSARS protest would be condoned again in the country.

Adamu issued this warning on Friday, November 27, in Abuja during a meeting with commissioners of police across the 36 states.

He said no protest under any guise would be allowed, saying "we have prepared to face them."
