Ronald Koeman has slammed his player's attitude during Barcelona's loss to Cadiz over the weekend.

Alvaro Gimenez put the home side ahead as Pedro Alcala scored an own goal to draw Barca level before Alvaro Negredo sealed the winner.

Alvaro Gimenez put the home side ahead on eight minutes before a Pedro Alcala's own-goal, 12 minutes into the second-half drew Barca level. Alvaro Negredo grabbed the winner for Cadiz later on.

In a post-match interview Koeman said:

"The loss is hard to explain.
"We had some decent games, our first 45 minutes was not good but we played beteer in the second and the way we lost was incredible
"The attitude wasn't good tonight, and not just from the defenders.
"It's very hard to explain some of the goals that we've conceded. I think it might be because of a lack of concentration.
"We lack aggression without the ball. That might be why we concede. It's not easy to explain that second goal."

La Blaugrana are now 12 points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid after suffering their fourth defeat of the season in ten matches.

Koeman's side will host Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus in midweek to know who would go top their Champions League group.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Barcelona were stunned 2-1 away from home by stubborn Cadiz as the Catalan giants had no answers up-front, on a night Lionel Messi was not at his best.

A historic night for the newcomers who had beaten reigning champions Real Madrid 1-0 earlier in the season, also beat Barcelona.

Blaugrana started the game brightly and would have gone ahead in the 2nd minute after an excellent lob pass from Sergio Busquets found Antoine Griezmann, but Ledesma rushed out of goal well and got to the ball first.
