Manchester United had to come from a goal down to defeat hard-fighting West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday, November 5, in the Premier League.

Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford all found the back of the net in the second half to cancel Tomas Soucek's first half strike.

It was a slow start for Manchester United as West Ham looked brighter in the early exchanges as they look to put up a spectacular show on the night.

United came close in the 18th minute after Anthony Martial's shot was blocked after he sped upfront before he fired his attempt.

The Hammers opened the scoring in the 38th minute as Tomas Soucek had an easy tap-in following a flick by Declan Rice to put West Ham ahead 1-0.

Both teams went into the break with the hosts ahead, however they expect United to come firing from all cylinders in the second half.

It would have been 2-0 in the 52nd minute after Haller picked out Fornals and his cross narrowly missed Bowen at the back post.

Paul Pogba restored parity for United in the 64th minute when Henderson's long ball found Fernandes who rolled it into the path of Frenchman before he fired home to make it 1-1.

Barely three minutes later, it was 2-1 for United courtesy a Mason Greenwood strike after Alex Telles whipped a lovely ball in and Greenwood took it superbly. A brilliant turn and superb finish.

West Ham manager David Moyes was livid as Moyes contested that Henderson's long ball definitely went out of play before Pogba's equaliser.

In the 71st minute, Marcus Rashford missed a sitter to guarantee his side all three points when he hit the post, having faced the goalkeeper one-on-one.

But the English striker made up six minutes later after sensational pass from Mata found him before he cooly slotted home to make it 3-1 to United - and that was how it ended.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that two first-half goals from Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne were all Manchester City needed to defeat Fulham 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

The victory sees the Citizens move three points behind league leaders Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool pending their league games this weekend.

Pep Guardiola's men returned to winning ways following their 0-0 draw with FC Porto during midweek's Champions League encounter in Portugal.
