Recall that IGP Adamu recently stated that the recent #EndSARS protest in Nigeria was aimed at removing President Muhammadu Buhari from office.

He made the claim on Tuesday, November 24 in Port Harcourt, during a meeting between the leaders of the south-south region and a delegation from Nigeria’s presidency, adding that fake news gave impetus to the protests which lasted for days.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force on Monday, November 23, promoted 82,779 junior police officers to their next ranks.

A statement by the police authorities revealed that the officers consist of 56,779 sergeants, 17,569 corporals, and 8,431 constables.
