Jurgen Klopp who is the handler of reigning Premier League champions Liverpool has expressed fear over his squad following the injury superb midfielder Naby Keita sustained.
The 25-year-old Guinean footballer got injured during Liverpool's emphatic Premier League win over big rivals Leicester City at Anfield on Sunday, November 22.
Naby Keita has now joined the likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Thiago Alcantara and Shaqiri on the injury list.
Jonny Evans scored an own goal in the 21st minute to give Liverpool the lead in the Premier League tie before Diogo Jota netted the second goal for the Reds in the 41st minute.
Brazilian striker Firmino scored the winner for Liverpool in the 86th minute as the Reds moved to second position on the Premier League table after nine games.
Super Eagles' duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi did not play for Leicester City in this encounter as the likes of Jamie Vardy and James Justin were unable to save the Foxes from defeat.
According to the report on GOAL, Jurgen Klopp explained that Naby Keita's injury has added more worries to the squad in the English topflight and other competitions.
''Keita felt his hamstring and was not able to play on. It's a tricky situation and when Naby goes off with a muscle injury you know the problems will not get smaller.
''The boys know when they are allowed to train with us they have the quality to do so, we don't give tickets for training, you have to qualify with talent and aptitude. It is a tough school, there a lot of steps to go.''
Naby Keita joined Liverpool two years ago from RB Leipzig and the talented African star has so far played 48 games netting four goals for the Premier League giants.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Real Madrid are prepared to launch a bid for Liverpool midfielder Georgino Wijnaldum who is also being trailed by rivals Barcelona and Italian giants Inter Milan.
The Dutch star is already in the final year of his contract and reports from Spain have it that Madrid are now keen on signing the 30-year-old.
With Wijnaldum's experience, having won the Premier League as well as the Champions League, the French manager believes the Liverpool star will fit in.
Earlier, Barcelona were tipped to complete the signing of the player as manager Ronald Koeman was his boss when he worked as the manager of the Netherlands head coach.
