The lawmaker representing Adamawa northern senatorial zone in the 9th Assembly, Ishaku Abbo has described the pioneer Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) chairman, Alhaji Nuhu Ribadu as a "detribalized" Nigerian.
Abbo said this while sending his wishes to the former EFCC boss on his 60th birthday through his official Facebook handle on Saturday, November 21.
Senator Abbo himself is known for his generosity.

Recalling his time working with Ribadu, Senator Abbo wrote:
“In 2010, I resigned my appointment as special adviser to the governor of Adamawa state to join your team as a volunteer
“Eventually, I became your personal assistant (PA) then Special Assistant (SA) and much more - personal confidant (PC)".
“In fact a day before you came back from exile, I met Mr. Falana Falana SAN in his Ikeja Office in Lagos and agreed with others that I cannot mention here on your programs for the next few weeks.”
The senator applauded the former EFCC boss noting that:
“You live an honest simple life and you committed your life in the hands of God Almighty. You are one of the most connected and respected Nigerians alive. What a man!!!
“I want to appreciate you today from the depth of my heart as you clock the age of sixty (60).”

Recall that Senator Abbo on Friday, November 13 rescued some victims of a motor accident along the Hong-Mubi road in Adamawa state.
According to aides of the senator, a car ran into another vehicle right in front of the senator's convoy while heading to Mubi.
The senator was said to have immediately ordered the convoy to stop and personally made way to the accident site where he mobilised some of his aides to rescue the accident victims and personally escorted them to the Hong General Hospital for emergency attention.
