Cristiano Ronaldo has recorded a staggering 102 international goals in 170 appearances for Portugal since he broke into the team in 2003.

The 35-year-old has eight more goals to overtake Iranian legend Ali Daei who sits atop of the chart with 109 goals from 149 matches.

However, he could increase the tally when he leads his country to Euro 2021 championship next summer as they have been paired with Hungary, Germany, and France.

The Juventus forward is also a success at the club levels having won five Champions Leagues, among other domestic and continental silverware.

According to Sportskeeda, the former Real Madrid attacker has scored against 41 different teams at the international level.

Meanwhile, here are six countries that have suffered more in the hands of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner:

6. Armenia

Cristiano Ronaldo has found the back of the net five times in four matches against Armenia in all competitions.

Two of the goals came in the two Euro 2008 qualifiers, while he grabbed a hat-trick against the same team during the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

He scored once against them in two 2006 World Cup qualifying games and then scored back-to-back doubles in as many games in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Ronaldo has faced Luxembourg eight times, scoring five goals in the process. His goals came in their World Cup qualifiers in 2006 and 2014.

While the remaining were recorded in their Euro 2021 qualifiers and a friendly encounter.

3. Andorra

The five-time Ballon d'Or has scored six goals in three appearances against Andorra. He scored all of the goals in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Ronaldo scored his first international quadruple in their first leg and scored the remaining two in the remainder of the qualifiers.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored seven goals against Lithuania in only three games.
