Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has got Nigerians talking after she made a statement about church vigils on her Twitter page.
According to the journalist, a Nigerian whose family members attend church vigils are practising witchcraft.
Kemi stated that God is everywhere at all hours. She noted that going to church or staying up in the dead of night is unnecessary.
The investigative journalist urged people to pray anytime and not in darkness.
As expected, Nigerians took to her comment section to react to her tweet.
Many faulted her opinion and quoted bible verses to show that church vigils aren't a form of witchcraft.
A follower called Victor stated the example of Paul and Silas in the bible.
Kemi replied to him by saying that they no longer exist. According to her, we are in a modern age.
Yusuf Oluwakemi asked why she was against the church.
Olubanky noted that it takes a witch to know one.
Ogunniyi said her only problem with vigil is the noise.
Another tweep wondered if the night is not a good time to pray.

In other news, Legit.ng earlier reported that Kemi Olunloyo explained why she can't accept any marriage proposal.
The investigative journalist said that she is not in love with anyone, which is why she has never been married. According to her, she can never submit to a man. She noted that she would rather have a man submit to her.
Olunloyo had earlier stated that the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) should go after married people before they arrest those who are involved in internet fraud.
The journalist urged her followers to keep their eyes open and stay single. According to her, she made the vow not to get married at the age of 27 and she has not broken it.
