Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, during a recent interview with The Shade Room said his signee, Mayorkun, is the biggest music star in the world.

It is no longer news that fans and music lovers have been known to pit the three biggest artistes in the country, Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid, against each other.

An argument that usually takes over social media is about who the bigger artiste among them is.

Well, during the interview with Shade Room, Davido gave an unexpected answer when he was asked who he would say was the biggest artiste globally between him, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

The DMW boss said his signee, Mayorkun, was the biggest and went ahead to spell his name for the interviewer. He added that he was Mayorkun of Lagos.

The interviewer was obviously surprised by his response as well as many Nigerians in the comment section.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Nigerians on social media voted for which music star between Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid, had their album of the year.

Burna Boy’s Twice as Tall gathered 15.7% of the votes, Davido’s A Better Time had 24.1%, Adekunle Gold’s Afro Pop, Vol 1 had just 1.9% votes while Wizkid emerged the winner of the poll after gathering 58.6% of the votes.
