- This is coming after she was given a political appointment by the governor of Bayelsa state, Duoye Diri, alongside her fellow BBNaija star, Trikytee
Nigerian reality show star, Nengi, recently shared her thoughts on the double standards in the society after she was a victim of it.
The young lady explained in a post on Twitter that when men get something, it is seen as a result of their hard work unlike when women get the same thing and it is believed she used her body.
Speaking further, Nengi said that it was also not funny how women were the same ones pushing the narrative about their fellow women. She said that the double standard irked her.
In her words:
“The double standard irks me.. A man gets something, it’s well deserved but when a woman does, she had to sell her body for it. Funny how it’s even women undervaluing women. No, not funny actually.”

In another post, Nengi thanked those who were working to change the narrative that patriarchy in the society had set.
“Grateful for the people who are constantly working to unlearn the way Patriarchy has clouded how we walk through the world.”
