Controversial Nigerian OAP Daddy Freeze has advised Nigerians to stop praying for unmerited favour or for other people's blessings to be given to them.

This is coming after Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God shared how God intervened when he and his poor uncle were starving on a particular day in 1956.

After sharing the story, the cleric prayed for his followers that God would send them a miracle they do not deserve.

In his response, Daddy Freeze wrote:

"Nigeria's poverty and leadership crises is entirely based on the buffoonery of unmerited favor.
"Stop praying for unmerited favor, or for the blessings of other people to be given to you. Instead, pray that those who are deserving should be in places of authority.
"If we all adopt this mindset, we won't need to pray against bad governance in the future."
