As Nigeria gradually regains normalcy following the EndSARS protest, the federal government has declared that there is an urgent need for the rebuilding of trust between the government and the governed.

This was disclosed in Lagos by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. The vice president said this during the Rebuild Lagos: Dialogue and Partnership event.

According to him, government at all levels must do everything to rebuild the lost confidence with the people.

Osinbajo argued that this will help forestall a repeat of the destruction witnessed in the country in the aftermath of EndSARS protest.
