Sierra Leone FA will launch an investigation into the video made by Kei Kamara saying the mattress in their team hotel feels like a box.

The Leone Stars are in Nigeria to battle the Super Eagles in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Friday, November 13.

Coach John Keister's men arrived in Benin for the encounter earlier this week but the 36-year-old expressed displeasure towards the poor service rendered to them by their hospitality company.

He said he felt highly uncomfortable in his first night at the hotel, adding that when he tried reaching out to the customer service, she was not moved.

However, the allegation did not go down well with the country's FA and they have apologised to the hotel for the unprofessionalism of their player. The FA said in a statement:

"The Sierra Leone Football Association will launch an investigation into a viral video posted by Sierra Leone team striker Kei Kamara in which he is defaming a hospitality establishment at which the national team delegation, including the minister of sports Ibrahim Nyelenkeh and other top shots are currently residing."
