Rapper Tyga sued by landlord over rent arrears and damages done to property worth N92m

American rapper, Micheal Ray Stevenson alias Tyga has found himself on the wrong side with his landlord.

The music pop star was sued for failing to pay his rent and damaging the home he lived in for about a year.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the landlord claimed the rapper owes him N14,720,000 million ($32,000) unpaid rent, N12,880,000 million ($28,000) for damages to the floor, N7, 130,00 million ($15,500) for the marble floors, and counters and about N47,453,600 ($103,160) for the wallpaper and murals.

The landlord also claimed that the music star installed a basketball hoop in the driveway causing damages and changed the house locks without his authorization.
According to a report by Page Six, the landlord said he tried to settle the dispute with Tyga through mediation in May but he was not willing to engage.
He is now suing for a breach of contract and is demanding N92 million ($200,000) in damages.
