Nigerians react as Toke Makinwa's ex Maje Ayida wins defamatory lawsuit against OAP

Earlier on, had reported that popular fitness instructor, Maje Ayida, formerly married to media personality, Toke Makinwa, has defeated her in court following a defamation lawsuit filed against her in 2017.

Following this report, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their thoughts over the ruling which demands that the media personality pay her ex-husband N1 million in damages and also remove some pages of her book, On Becoming, which has been considered defamatory.

Toke who is currently trending on social media, has received support from some people who feel she won't lose anything by paying up the demanded some.

Others, however, feel Maje didn't receive justice as the sum awarded was too small. Some people opined that the judgement passed was unfair as she only spoke her truth.
