Jorge who is the father and agent of Barcelona legend Lionel Messi has rubbished the reports linking his son with a move to reigning French champions Paris-Saint-Germain.

Lionel Messi's current contract with Barcelona will expire at the end of the ongoing Spanish La Liga season and there has not been any progress on him signing a new deal.

Before the start of the 2020/21 League season in Europe, Lionel Messi was linked with a move away from Barcelona due to their poor performance last term.

Last season, the Catalans failed to win any title in all competitions and were also sent out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich.

Recently, there have been reports that Paris-Saint-Germain are interested in signing Lionel Messi at the end of the season.

But according to the latest report on UK Sun, Jorge claimed that the news that his star son could be moving to Paris-Saint-Germain are fake.

Since 2004 that Lionel Messi broke into Barcelona's first team, the Argentine has played 492 games so far scoring 447 goals for the Spanish giants.

He has also won 10 Spanish La Liga titles and four Champions League so far at the Nou Camp.

Earlier, had reported how Barcelona who are Spanish giants continued their social media feud with reigning Italian champions Juventus as they posted another stunning stats about Lionel Messi.

Recently, Juventus hosted Barcelona in the Champions League game in which the expectations of many fans was to see Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the encounter.

But Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to face his long term rival Lionel Messi because he was on isolation after being tested positive for COVID-19 before he later recovered.

Juventus went on to lose the match 2-0 against Barcelona without Cristiano Ronaldo with Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi scoring the two goals.

Barcelona took to their Twitter page after the encounter which they won claiming that it must have been nice for Juventus seeing the GOAT on their pitch.
