- The French champions have stated that they are interested in signing the Portuguese
- Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid and has won two League titles
Reigning French champions Paris-Saint-Germain have confirmed interest in the signing of Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo who is currently playing for Juventus.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing for Juventus for the past two seasons after leaving Spanish champions Real Madrid where he won four Champions League titles.
Since he got to Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Italian Serie A title twice but he has not won the Champions League which is one of the reasons he was signed.
Despite having the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, Paris-Saint-Germain director confirmed the club's interest in signing the five-time Ballon d'Or winner according to the report on UK Sun.
"Today in football we do not know what will happen. Maybe tomorrow Cristiano Ronaldo wakes up and says I want to go play elsewhere.
"Who can buy him? It's a closed circle. PSG enters this circle. Usually it is about opportunities, situations.
"The transfer window, we have to prepare for it and that's what we do. We have our priorities, our lists, but something unforeseen can happen."
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner currently earns £28 million - five times over what Paulo Dybala who is the club's next most paid star takes home.
And the Old Lady can't wait to get that huge amount off their wage bill in a bid to remain in business beyond this term.
However, the Turin based club, instead of offloading the Portuguese wants to extend his contract expected to run out in 2022.
Meanwhile, despite scoring over the weekend, Andrea Pirlo has been critical of his strikers of late, claiming that they are selfish, laying into their performance.
