A gentleman in Ghana who bought a smartphone on the street of Accra got home to only realise that he was actually given packaged wood.
According to a report by Celebritiesbuzz.com.gh, the victim's brother called Thomas Tag Amenyo narrated the story in a public group on Facebook where he shared the pictures of the 'wooden phone'.
The pictures show that the wood was shaped carefully in the form of a phone and then embedded inside the case where the internal elements are meant to be.
Thomas sounded so disappointed by what was done to his own brother that he decided to 'sentence' the perpetrators to h*ll.
“Some phone dealers won’t make it to heaven, see what they did to my brother in Accra, Hmm. Any victim in the house? Share your experience."
Although Thomas did not disclose the exact location the incident happened, it is thought that it happened at Circle, where many similar reports are usually heard.
In other news, a young Nigerian man has fallen victim of a scam at Computer Village in Ikeja area of Lagos where he had gone to get a phone.
Instead of being sold an iPhone 11 pro max, he was sold an iPhone 6 with Vitamin C tablets plastered as triple cameras at the back.
