Journalist narrates embarrassing moment in a Lagos restaurant

A Nigerian journalist identified as Aisha on Twitter narrated what happened at a Lagos restaurant situated in GRA Ikeja she went to recently.

According to her post, she said that she got kicked out of the restaurant because she and her friend were not chaperoned by a man, as women were suddenly not allowed there alone.

Aisha stated that it was not her first time there as she had patronised them multiple times over the past few years.

The aggrieved lady also said that it was only after she pressed for the reason that they revealed that men must accompany female customers.

She finally said that she had to eat somewhere else with her friend.

"I got kicked out of Harzoyka restaurant in GRA Ikeja today because according to them, they have a new policy - no women allowed."
