Kamala Harris, the United States (US) vice president-elect, has told American that the victory she and Joe Biden got at the recently-concluded presidential election is not about them.
Harris on Saturday, November 7, noted that the win is much more than herself, Biden and the even the Democratic party.
She stated on her verified Twitter page on Saturday that it is all about the soul of America and the will to fight for it at all cost.
Moreover, the American vice president-elect said that there is a lot of work ahead of them and expressed a readiness to begin working towards achieving set goals.
"This election is about so much more than @JoeBiden or me.
"It’s about the soul of America and our willingness to fight for it. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Let’s get started."
