As vote counting continues in the United States presidential election, the candidate of the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, plans to address American citizens.
In a report by CNN, aides of the former US vice president are making plans for Biden to speak by prime-time on Friday night, November 6.
However, Biden's campaign team did not reveal the location of where he will be making the address from.
According to the presidential candidate's aides, they believe Biden's address to the people will be a victory speech.
Ahead of Biden’s address, his running mate, Senator Kamala Harris is also expected to deliver a speech, a campaign aide stated.
Since the beginning of the US presidential election, this would be the first time Kamala will be making a statement.
Biden who is leading said he has no doubt that he and Kamala will be declared winners when all ballots are counted.
The presidential candidate speaking in a briefing on Thursday, November 5, said votes are sacred in America and called for every ballot to be counted in accordance with the will of voters.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Renaissance Capital (RenCap) analysts have predicted that a win for Biden will attract $700 billion investments to Nigeria and other emerging markets.
Charles Robertson, a RenCap chief economist, said a Biden victory will, in the long run, shift trillions of dollars to Nigeria and other emerging markets.
The expert at the global investment and research firm said he expects Biden to clinch victory with Nevada to give him six Electoral College votes.
