The APC supporters said his illness has taken a toll on him, noting that his medical condition has prevented him from paying his children school fees.

In another news, the APC on Tuesday, November 3, disclosed that internal disputes among party members in nine states have been resolved.

According to the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the APC, the disputes were resolved in Bauchi, Cross River, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Zamfara, Ondo and Oyo states.

The party made the disclosure after its mid-term assessment meeting which held at the national secretariat in Abuja, The Nation reported.

In a related report, Kabiru Marafa, APC chieftain in Zamfara, has declared that the crisis bedeviling the state chapter is not yet resolved contrary to the position maintained by the national caretaker committee.

The former senator accused Governor Mai Mala Buni led-committee of peddling falsehood about the crisis

Marafa, who is a factional leader, said the committee set up to restore peace never formally approached the warring factions in the state.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the proposed move by the APC to censor social media as a ploy to muzzle Nigerians.

On its Twitter page on Wednesday, November 4, the PDP alleged that the APC is trying to stop Nigerians, especially the youths, the media and civil society organisation from demanding accountability and competence from the APC-led government.

Even more, the PDP said that it rejects the claim that the regulation of the social media is to check fake news.
