Nigerian cat owners flaunt their beautiful pets on social media

Nigerians on social media have shown how sweet it is to own a cat as pet by flooding Twitter with adorable pictures of their pets.

Tweep with the handle @_PLICE took to the social media platform to call on cat owners to flaunt their pets.

He shared pictures of his own cat and wrote:

"Nigerian cat parents, let's show off our babies.
"Meet Shadow. She's 6months old."
"I really wish the stereotypes on cats can stop. They are amazing buddies, extra clean, playful and responsible. If you haven’t gotten one yet, please do but make sure you take care of him/her/them well. Feed them, play with them and take them to the Vet regularly."

Other cat owners flooded his comment section with beautiful photos of their pets and gave some information about them.

Nigerian model Adetutu OJ also shared pictures of her cats and said one of them was killed and eaten by cat hunters.

She wrote:

"Meet Blackmore and Marshall, Marshall is dead / eaten by cat hunters. I have 6 others but they keep hunting most of them down in the hood here. My landlady said no pets so I left them here in the hood."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a dog that had gone missing travelled a whole 57 miles to the place its owner used to live.

When the new owner of the home, Colton Michael, saw the dog on Wednesday, July 15, on the porch, he was surprised.

Little did he know that the dog actually felt at home because that was where its owner used to live before they had to move.
