There is no doubt that 2020 has been quite an overwhelming year for virtually everyone across the world, and this holds largely to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Like other industries forced to bring activities to an unwanted halt, the entertainment sector felt the heat as hundreds of shows, concerts could not go on as planned.

A lot of artistes whose major stream of income come from performances at these events had to find more creative ways of generating money.

Luckily, since digital music streaming platforms have become an extra avenue to earn more cash, many resorted to hitting the studio and putting out fresh projects.

Burna Boy, Adekunle Gold, Patoranking, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Olamide, Niniola, Fireboy DML and many others treated their fans to robust albums while smiling all the way to the bank.

Although the year has now almost come to an end, there are still a few artistes that have fans anticipating their projects.

1. Davido

Barely a few months after the release of A Good Time, Davido got his music lovers excited all over again after making the announcement that another album titled A Better Time will follow up.

However, it quickly became evident that events beyond his control came in the way of the release and the album which should have originally dropped in July was pushed back until much later.

Well, after a lot of pushing back and a lead single, FEM, which has whet the appetite of fans, OBO is finally set to drop the project come November 13.

2. Teni

The Billionaire crooner is also among artistes that had a challenging run in 2020. Just before the Lockdown commenced, a visit to Teni’s official Instagram page showed snippets from studio sessions and the singer eagerly letting her fans know that an album is on the way.

However, with all that has happened, it remains unsure if the project will still be released in 2020 or be pushed until the coming year.

3. LAX

The Ginger crooner also has fans around the country that are anticipating his album which is set to drop before the year runs out.

LAX’s album titled Zaza Vibes contains 12 tracks and it is listed on the ‘coming soon’ section of Apple music streaming app.
