A local lady shared an amazing post about her stepfather. Mjebha Mgiba celebrated her stepdad's birthday with pomp and fanfare.

Mr Mgiba, as she called him, came into her life when she was just 11 years old and changed her life.

Mjebha said she lived in a one-bedroom shack with her mother. The two of them were struggling and had nothing but porridge and sugar to eat. Mjebha said the day her stepfather arrived was the day everything changed.

She said he has been the best father she could ever ask for. Mjebha is now 35 years old and is extremely grateful for all her stepfather has done for her. She personally saved up money to throw him a birthday party.

Mjebha's full post on the #ImStaying group on Facebook read:

"Meet my stepfather Mr Mgiba. He came into my life when I was eleven years old. I lived in a one-room shack with my mom I remember we had nothing to eat but porridge and sugar... The day he arrived everything changed he's been the best father I could ever ask for.
"Today I'm 35 years old he is still the best father in the world. Last weekend I saved up enough and threw him a birthday party he is the reason why #ImStaying I love you, daddy. Thanks for taking care of my mom and I."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian lady with Twitter name Ifedioku marked her birthday in a very special way with multiple cakes.

Carrying the biggest of it all in her hand, she surrounded herself with cakes of different sizes. Most of the people who reacted to her tweet were marvelled by it all.
