Man recounts how robbers in Lagos broke his glasses and aimed for his phone

- A young Nigerian man identified as Mufasa with the Twitter handle @celestocalculus narrowly escaped robbery attempt in Ijora area of Lagos

- Mufasa took to Twitter to make the disclosure, saying the robbers broke his side glasses and targeted his phone

- Luckily for him, the robbery was unsuccessful and he managed to get home unhurt

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to narrate how he was almost robbed in traffic around Ijora area of Lagos.

Mufasa with the Twitter handle @celestocalculus said he was stuck in traffic and not sure if he was going in the right direction.

According to him, he pulled out his phone to check the map and the robbers noticed and approached his vehicle.

The robbers who were two in number broke his windows and tried to steal his phone but did not succeed.

@celestocalculus said the experience gave him a very warm welcome to Lagos, adding that he got home unhurt.

He tweeted:

"Attempted traffic robbery at Ijora. Lagos gave me a very warm welcome. Got home unscathed & they didn't succeed in taking my phone, after breaking both my side glass.
"Their crazy met an even crazier crazy. Thankfully I somehow got out of the situation before it got worse"

In other news, the Ondo State Security Network Agency otherwise known as Amotekun Corps has handed over some hoodlums who looted both government and private properties to the Nigeria police.

The hoodlums had taken the advantage of the #EndSARS protest to unleash mayhem on the southwest state.
