Mikel Arteta's Arsenal boasts of the best defensive record in the Premier League so far this campaign.

The North Londoners recently ended their winless run against Manchester United at Old Trafford after inflicting a 1-0 defeat on them at Old Trafford.

Though, they lost to Manchester City and Liverpool earlier this season, yet, they have conceded the lowest number of goals in the English topflight.

Despite sitting ninth on the table, they have conceded just seven goals while scoring nine goals in the process - leaving them with two goals difference.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leicester City, and Man City are the teams with the second-best record after Arsenal. Daily Telegraph football reporter said:

"Arsenal have the best defensive record in the Premier League, despite already playing Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United away."

Liverpool have the worst defensive record so far having conceded 15 goals after seven matches.

Arsenal host Molde in the Europa League this midweek before welcoming Aston Villa to the Emirates Stadium a few days later.
